BanDai 1/72 B-Wing Update 2 (Final)

Sorry for the lack of in-progress photos on this build. I got had a lot of starts and stops and forgot to take more.

Anyway, the weathering is done. I used some gray panel line enhancer on the wings and some areas on the main fuselage. Then I used some black wash to dirty things up a bit. Once that had dried, I sprayed on a light clear coat and used some Tamiya weathering pigments to enhance some metallic areas and add some soot streaks in places. I gave it a final dull coat and removed the masking on the canopy.

I also got the LR41 batteries in and put them in the LED module. They have a slight flicker effect, but not as pronounced as I would have liked. Here is a shot of them turned on.

Below is a gallery of all around photos of the finished model.

The stand is very different from the other Star Wars starfighter kits I’ve done. This one is clear and allows you to move the attachment point up or down and change the angle from vertical to tilted back. It also allows you to attach the model rotated in 45 degree increments.

Well, this one is done and it will be added to my other Star Wars Rebel starfighters.

Thanks for looking.
